The puff pastry dough is made by a traditional process, wrap the sheet margarine (sheet butter) in the dough, and repeat stretching, folding and resting to create a layer state of 144 layers. In particular, as the number of folds increases, the pastry dough becomes delicate, so we always make it carefully so as not to overdo it while checking the condition and temperature of the dough.

We, entered Kaneka's RSPO multisite with the aim of promoting the production and use of sustainable palm oil, and obtained certification. as a company that uses margarine contained palm oil, we will continue to focus on environmental and social issues related to the palm industry, and conduct business in consideration of the conservation of the natural environment and the impact on society in palm-producing countries.
Efforts are also being made to contribute to society in terms of the environment, such as obtaining Eco Action 21 certification.
In order to build a sustainable society, environmental considerations such as energy saving, resource saving, and waste reduction are necessary in all business activities such as products and manufacturing processes. Nagashima shokuhin acquired Eco-Action 21 certification in 2008, and continued to work on a company-wide basis for the purpose of this system, which is to “promote environmental efforts of businesses and realize a sustainable economic society”.
